Just a bit of fun

This album isn't to be taken seriously, and isn't intended to be. Skepta puts together a group of light hearted catchy beats and tunes with simple yet appealing lyrics and hooks. From a critical point of view this album is easily ripped apart - the lyricism is weak and topics which could be expanded into much more depth and meaning (Eg. Getting arrested abroad, black on black crime) are treated lightly and the situation is never explored adequately. But that's not what Skepta is about. This album wasn't created to please the critics - it was made to please the fans. And when you just want to kick back relax and feel good, this album does it's job.
