'Love' is a fascinating reworking of numerous classic Beatles recordings by the band’s original producer, Sir George Martin and his son Giles. The result is an astonishing album that reinforces the timeless quality of the group's recordings; fans will have hours of fun enjoying the roller coaster experience of listening to the album whilst trying to spot where all the pieces of music come from. 'Love' is an astonishing album that pushes back the boundaries of recorded music and can only add to the enduring legacy of the Beatles.
'Love' is also the title of the highly successful Cirque du Soleil/Apple co-production, featuring the music of The Beatles, currently wowing audiences in Las Vegas.

When I first heard that Sir George Martin was to do a remix album of Beatles, I admit I was skeptical. I felt that The Beatles' music is unique and should not be changed by anyone (even Sir George).
However, when I first heard this album, my opinion TOTALLY changed - I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY on hearing it.
It is a very atmospheric and beautiful remix of different bits of many Beatles songs throughout their career. No one moment is left without careful consideration, and you just don't want it to end. At 1hr 19mins, they certainly put a lot into it.
I have listened to it several times since, and I am still not bored - on the contrary it stills puts me on some other plain.
Trying to work out where different instruments, drum lines, bass lines etc. come from which songs, is enough to entertain you for many many hearings of the album.
Sir George and Giles Martin - there's still much Beatles music and sounds unused, please make a volume 2!
thanks

Even thou it is not a proper Beatles Album but more of a promo for the Cirque De Soliie show 'Love' which features the beatles music.
Most songs have been twicked by either slowing down or by speeding up parts of the tracks. The best track on the Album is the Octopus's Garden which as a new intro music from (Good Night Song of the White ALbum) which makes it feel the track perfect.

I bought this album when I saw an ad for it on the television, playing 'Here Comes the Sun'. It has got me TOTALLY hooked on the Beatles, I just can't get enough! It's one of the best cd's i've ever invested in (:
