Coming from the same camp as Mercury Music Prize winner Dizzee Rascal, 'Treddin' On Thin Ice' is the debut album by Wiley. Produced and written by Wiley himself, the album is a mix of disjointed beats, garage style bass, and video game sounding samples, topped with Wiley's unique MCing. The album also includes the single 'Wot Do U Call It'.

Wiley is currently the biggest star on the UK's underground urban music scene who is taking garage into a new direction. Having co-produced fellow label mate and Roll Deep Crew member Dizzee Rascal's Mercury Award winning album 'Boy In Da Corner', Wiley is now set to freeze the airwaves over with his unique sounds.
After safely establishing his roots in jungle and garage, Wiley is now pioneering a new musical style called 'eski beat' or 'grime', which takes the sounds of UK garage and combines it with various urban elements from US hip-hop to Jamaican ragga. His innovative style has ignited a deeper emotion of sound to give it a darker edge. The 'eski beat' reflects heavily on Wiley's own troubled life with tracks titled 'Eskimo', 'Ice Rink' and 'Igloo', but nevertheless, Wiley is fixing up the scene for 'grime'.
