When an evil darkness enshrouds the land of Hyrule, a young farm boy named Link must awaken the hero – and the animal – within. Raised as a wrangler in a small, rural village, Link is ordered by the mayor to attend the Hyrule Summit. He sets off, oblivious to the dark fate that has descended upon the kingdom. When he enters the Twilight Realm that has covered Hyrule, he transforms into a wolf and is captured. A mysterious figure named Midna helps him break free. With the aid of her magic, they set off to free the land from the shadows.
Featuring series' favourites Link, Zelda, Midna and many other characters, both new and old, Link must explore the vast land of Hyrule and uncover the mystery behind its plunge into darkness. As he does, he'll have to enlist the aid of friendly folk, solve puzzles and battle his way through dangerous dungeons. In the Twilight Realm, he'll have to use his wolf abilities and Midna's magic to bring light to the land.
Besides his trusty sword and shield, Link will use his bow and arrows, fight while on horseback and use a wealth of other items, both new and old. Players can use the Wii Remote as a fishing pole, while a spin of the Nunchuk controller executes a spin attack.

How do you take the greatest games franchise of all time and make it better yet again? It's simple. Take the lead character and give him the ability to turn into a wolf!
Twilight Princess is without doubt the greatest launch game ever, setting the standard for all Wii games to follow. From the first time you jump on Links trusty horse (and friend) Epona and take her for a ride using the Wii remote you just get the feel you are in for something special.
Gameplay is simple using the Wii nunchuk to move Link and use his shield whilst the Wii Remote has many uses however you will be thrashing and thrusting it like a sword most of the time. The Wii remote IS your weapon and you will never have felt this involved in a game.
There are many of the familiar Zelda traits here (dungeons, mini games, MASSIVE boss fights), Wolf Link however adds a new element to the game along with a true classic Zelda character in Midna.
The puzzles range from very simple item finding to brain popping impossible, for the difficulty though you can never force yourself to put this game down knowing that it is down to you to save the world of Hyrule.
So should you buy this game if you have a Wii? YES! Should you buy a Wii for this game? Without a doubt. Sure the graphics seem slightly last gen and the game doesn't seem entirely "fresh" but what you have with Twilight Princess is a pure joy for both casual and harcdcore gamers.

I was simply dazed with the sheer brilliance of this game. It is just as good as the epic Ocarina of Time. It's a Zelda game after all, so what would you expect but the finest! Proof that the Nintendo staff are geniuses!

Just like all the previous Zelda's. Only bigger with more features. Which is exactly what I want from this game. It's huge, the graphics and sound is good, it's full of action and puzzles. What more could you ask for? Definitely one for your wii collection.
