I really wanted to like this game. I immensely enjoyed the previous Alone In The Dark. However I just found it a bit too frustrating. The game looks great and it's not long before you are thrown into the action. The way you can interact with the environment is great fun.
The trouble for me came down to controls. There's too much going on, to get use to, Sure, it adds to the tension and urgency. However, there are only so many times you can die and keep replaying the same bit before you realise that actually, this isn't really much fun at all.
Also (and maybe this is a sign of just how much of a recreational gamer I am) I found an appaling lack of medical supplies meant I could NOT keep in a fit enough state long enough to actually make much progress.
thanks

I really want to dislike this game, with it's dodgy controls and having to keep replaying missions over and over again because it's bugged and crashes and you weren't pixel perfect. After saying all that it still keeps dragging me back to play it! The easily frustrated be warned!
thanks
