For the first few days it worked the game was great, had amazing graphics, the new features i found to be really cool, the new challeges in the game made it more fun to play than sims 2 BUT...
The game has mant faults. the main problem with it is crashing. hundreds of people are having this problem, just check the EA forums, and it doesnt seem to matter whether you have the right computer specs or not, it crashes.
i bought i new computer two months before getting the game, it more then met the specs EA said you needed to play it but within the first week the crashes started, turning down the graphics fixed it for a while but the crahses have started up again and EA have yet to find a solution.
there are many solution suggestions out there and some work for some people but not all.
As much as i love this game im thinking of scrapping it, because no matter how good your computer its up to chance whether it works or not.
thanks

Hmm, I don't know why someone wrote in their review the graphics are terrible and worse than sims 1 because this isn't true. Infact I was amazed at how well rendered the graphics are. There is so much detail in everything. Loads of jobs, so much to chose from in build mode, inventory, customizing your sim, you can have your own car, go into town. It's everything you ever wanted the sims 1 to have. And I must say way better than the sims 2 by far. (in our household we have the sims 2 in playstation, psp, nintendo ds and pc, the sims 3 beats all of those, mainly through gameplay and graphics). For me the only negative of the sims 3 is that you can't have piercings and tattoos when customizing your sim.
thanks
