In Terminator Salvation the videogame, based on the upcoming Terminator Salvation film from Warner Bros. Pictures and Sony Pictures, players assume the role of John Connor, a soldier in the resistance, battling for survival against the far superior forces of Skynet.
Terminator Salvation the videogame is an intense action-packed third-person shooter featuring concentrated armed combat against all of the Skynet enemies from the film and new killer machines specifically designed for the game. Taking place two years before the events of the upcoming film set in a post apocalyptic, decimated Los Angeles, players will be lead through a visceral, story and character driven gaming experience.
Featuring intense third-person action, Terminator Salvation the videogame will take combat to the next level with iconic enemies, cinematic fight sequences and advanced weaponry, drawn directly from the film, as well as an innovative, multi-layered cover mechanic.

yet another poor movie tie-in
2 June, 2009
I had this game set on pre-order and it arrived on the day, so i went round a mates house to play it and we were both extremely disappointed as the case gives the false impression that this game will be amazing.
This game fails to deliver on so many levels, the controls are terrible, the graphics are shoddy, the cover system is unreliable and you cannot run, instead you are given the treat of a light jog, the difficulty is low even on hard!, there is only a handful of enemy variants that you can easily count on one hand, weapons are terrible and the engagements are spaced out with boring walk from here to there sections,
This game only allows you to go forward on a set path and fight the terminator machines they have given you either in a single player campaign or with a friend in co-op mode.
There is no online multi-player experience and it's doubtful there will be anything worth introducing bar a complete rework of the game.
This is a very poor game and one that looks set to be sitting in bargain buckets across the country, but if you want an easy 1000g then borrow or rent, not worth the 30 price tag.
Absolutely no replay-ability, but since i played through this on my friends console I'm now going to have to suffer the game for a second time to get the 1000g before trading it in.
Overall View:-
# Low difficulty even on hard
# Low enemy variants
# poor control system
# poor graphics
# 3-4 hr completion time with breaks!
