Getting started
As a new shopper to hmv.com, there are a few things that should help you to make your shopping experience go smoothly. The first thing you will want to do is become a registered shopper:
- Click on the "Sign In" icon at the top of any page
- Select "create a new account"
- Fill out the information and you are ready to start shopping.
You can then sign up to hmv.com's free email newsletters, create "Wish Lists" and email them to your friends and family and send them E-Gift Certificates in return. You can also enter competitions, read reviews, and pre-order forthcoming releases
As you browse through the store you can add items to your "shopping bag". You can add or remove items at any time before you go to "checkout". If you are to be a frequent user you may wish to set up an "express checkout" profile which stores your preferences and allows you to check out even quicker.
Once you have submitted your order we will send a confirmation email and you can keep yourself updated in your "My Orders" page when you sign in to the site. Our site is secure and we will only take payment on despatch of your item.
