Children Of Bodom are a five-piece outfit from Espoo in Finland who over the past eight years have recorded and released four full studio albums. The band are not only well ahead of the game, but are now poised to unveil studio album No. 5 'Are You Dead Yet?', a 10 track outing that is sure to push the Finnish Five to a whole new level of international success, both critically and commercially.
At a time when the rock scene appears to be returning to more traditional values, Children Of Bodom, a young band with a wealth of experience and a ready supply of great songs, are perfectly placed to be one of the acts-with-an-attitude over the next 12 months, and indeed beyond.

Worst Bodom album to date

Bodom have gone through many changes over the years, changing their sound on an album by album basis. However AYDY moves into a far more mainstream area, diluting the band's heavy guitars in Europe style (the band, not the continent) synth widdling. Steer clear and stick with their first three albums

Finnish melodic death metallers - controversially named after a notorious unsolved mass murder that occurred near their Espoo home - Children of Bodom were one of the biggest acts on the European rock scene. Formed in 1993 by frontman Alexi æWildchildÆ Laiho their signature sound of duelling keyboards and guitars over a traditional metal barrage has become more refined over the years, although LaihoÆs resolutely death metal vocals and virtuoso guitar solos still raged. The quintetÆs key albums include FOLLOW THE REAPER (2001) and HATE CREW DEATHROLL (2003).
