Fourth album from the brothers Madden sees them continuing to head in the 80s synthpop-inspired direction they explored on 2004's 'The Chronicles Of Life And Death'. This time, however, there is some more mature songwriting and a darker tone to the lyrics, suggesting the boys have grown up somewhat. Includes the single 'Keep Your Hands Off My Girl' and an attempt to connect with the metal crowd with rawer, chunkier guitars and a guest appearance from members of Avenged Sevenfold on 'The River'.

Good Charlotte return with their fourth studio album 'Good Morning Revival'. Once again with production duties coming from Don Gilmore, 'Good Morning Revival' features the infectious punk-pop hit-in-the-making new single 'Keep Your Hands Off My Girl', mixing their signature anthemic rock style with dance floor inspired beats, and 'The River', which features Avenged Sevenfold's lead singer, M. Shadows and guitarist Synyster Gates.

Good charlottes 4th album shows that they have made huge progression as musicans and songwriters. It doesnt have the emo tone to it as the Chronicles did but the band have developed and this album has alot more keyboard in it from Billy. Also there new drummer Deano brings pop drumming to their music which surprisingly works!
The River and Keep you hands off my girl make it a must buy! Especially for 3.99!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone that had ehard this album told me it was their worst album so far, but i though it was brilliant, and their best so far! I was simply be because of the Christian centred lyrics, and me being a Christian, either way, i still believe the album is better musicaly, but the style had changed so much, it really is jsut your personal taste.
thanks

Good Charlotte began when a motley crew led by Maryland punk rock twins Joel and Benji started making the local rounds with their music and building up a grass roots following. In due course they landed a major label deal, and their self-titled 2001 debut album made their blend of punk power and pop smarts a huge success. The next year's follow-up THE YOUNG AND THE HOPELESS picked up where its predecessor left off, bringing the band to even greater commercial heights.
