‘Hollywood Potato Chip’ is pure punk rock played by one of its finest exponents, the magnificent Vandals. Their eighth album in fifteen years was produced by the band’s Warren Fitzgerald and mixed by Jerry Finn (Green Day, AFI) and is possibly their finest album since ‘Hitler Bad, Vandals Good’.

Along with Bad Religion and the Descendents, Huntington Beach surf punks the Vandals were one of the key bands in the development of the highly influential SoCal punk sound. Originally one of the most violent bands in the nascent L.A. hardcore scene of the early 1980s, the Vandals tightened up, indulged even further their already goofball sense of humour, and without slowing down even a single notch birthed the clean, pogo-ready pop-punk sound that became the cornerstone of nearly the entire West Coast punk community. The band continued to tour and record well into the 2000s and remained one of punk's most popular outfits.
