Definately there best next to Comalies

i got this album for christmas (because im that cheerful) and was majorly impressed. i had doubts because its one of there older albums ... but dont let that put you off. If you thought comalies was a good album this one is a definite buy

A great leap in to the big league

This was the album that brought Lacuna Coil to the masses. Christina's haunting, powerful vocal's along with the melodic metal backdrop was a successful formula. Heir Of A Dying Day is a wonderful track and the inclusion of the Italian language Senzafine was a risky move but it paid off, being a stand out track on the album.

Formed in the early 1990s, this Italian outfit is an anomaly in the annals of metal, blending dark goth leanings with sophisticated arrangements and an unmistakable ear for snappy pop hooks. Singer Cristina Scabbia's ethereal vocals undoubtedly go a long way towards enhancing the band's commercial appeal, while its live act and a relentless tour schedule have gained the band a loyal international fan base.
