This is the epic debut album by the Surrey-formed synth fuelled indie rock quartet, Ghosts. Although the band cite Radiohead and Spiritualized as their key influences, this album clearly displays a pop sensibility along the same lines as acts such as Coldplay and The Feeling. The singles 'Musical Chairs' and 'Stay The Night' are included.

Ghosts first met at school and have been together, in one guise or another, ever since. It is little wonder, then, that the music sounds so self-assured, and so very accomplished - ecstatic melodies, sugar-spun choruses and a precise understanding of pop music and all its infinite nuances. 'The World Is Outside', Ghosts' debut album, is packed with radio-friendly hits, such as the toe-tapping first single, 'Stay The Night'.

I'm not entirely sure what to say about this album other than its well worth a listen.
Its just awesome relaxing music that you can put on and lose yourself in.
Some wonderful songs that you'll find yourself listening to over and over and singing along with and be being cheered by.

Fantastic!

This is a great debut album from the Surrey band. Excellent uplifting tunes, easy to listen too, it's certainly one of those albums you will put on, over again without getting bored with it! This band has got a great future if they keep up this sort of standard. Welldone
