Debut album from Colchester's Thomas Bisdee, whose inventive and exciting postmodern electro-pop productions have earned him remixing credits for a host of mainstream pop and indie stars. The album sees a stylistic shift away from the explicit dancefloor orientation of his remixes in favour of a more pop-based sound which draws heavily on 80s synthpop while incorporating more organic indie influences. The album's title is the clue to its thematic concept, as Bisdee reminisces about the formative events of his youth.
