The Lost City

Starring: Sandra Bullock, Channing Tatum, Daniel Radcliffe, Patti Harrison, Oscar Nunez, Da'Vine Joy Randolph, Brad Pitt

Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum team up for this big-budget comedy. 

The film follows Bullock's brilliant, but reclusive author Loretta Sage has spent her career writing about exotic places in her popular romance-adventure novels featuring handsome cover model Alan (Tatum), who has dedicated his life to embodying the hero character, “Dash.”

While on tour promoting her new book with Alan, Loretta is kidnapped by an eccentric billionaire who hopes that she can lead him to the ancient lost city’s treasure from her latest story.

Wanting to prove that he can be a hero in real life and not just on the pages of her books, Alan sets off to rescue her. Thrust into an epic jungle adventure, the unlikely pair will need to work together to survive...

 

Marry Me

Jennifer Lopez leads this glossy romantic comedy, which marks the big-screen debut of Colombian pop superstar Maluma. 

Lopez plays Kat Valdez, a Latin pop star who is booked to marry Bastian, her on-stage partner, live in concert. 

However, after learning that he has been having an affair, Valdez instead chooses to marry a stranger, teacher Charlie Gilbert (Wilson), who has been left holding a "Marry Me" sign by accident at her concert.

From there, the two must navigate their sudden new commitment...

 

Belfast

Starring: Judi Dench, Jamie Dornan, Ciarán Hinds, Colin Morgan, Jude Hill

Director: Kenneth Branagh

Release Date: January 22nd

 

Kenneth Branagh writes and directs this comedy-drama, which is based on his early childhood. 

Belfast chronicles the life of and daily struggles of a working-class Northern Irish Protestant family from the perspective of their nine-year-old son Buddy during The Troubles.

The film features music by Belfast native Van Morrison, including eight classic songs and a new song he has written for the movie. 

 

Shotgun Wedding

Starring: Jennifer Lopez, Josh Duhamel, Sônia Braga, Jennifer Coolidge, Lenny Kravitz, Cheech Marin

Director: Jason Moore

Release Date: June 29th

 

J-Lo's second appearance in this preview list and another wedding, though a very, very different one. 

Lopez plays Darcy, who have cajoled their families to the Bahamas for the ultimate destination wedding just as the couple get cold feet.

But suddenly everyone's lives are in danger when the entire party is taken hostage. Now the pair must work together to save their loved ones, if they don't end up killing each other first...

 

 

Ticket To Paradise

Starring: George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Billie Lourd, Kaitlyn Dever, Lucas Bravo

Director: Ol Parker

Release Date: September 30th

 

George Clooney and Julia Roberts team up with Ol Parker, director of Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again for this new romantic comedy. 

The story follows young graduate Wren Butler who accompanies her best friend Lily on a post-graduation jaunt to Bali.

After Lily abruptly decides to marry a local, her divorced parents try to stop their daughter from making the same mistake they once made 25 years ago.

Meanwhile, Wren stays in Bali for the festivities and, in the process, finds her own love with a local doctor...

 

BROS

Starring: Billy Eichner, Luke Macfarlane, Miss Lawrence, Symone, Guillermo Diaz, Guy Branum 

Director: Nicholas Stoller

Release Date: August 26th

 

Eichner, best known for his roles in Parks and Recreation and American Horror Story, will team up with Forgetting Sarah Marshall director Stoller for this new romantic comedy. 

The film will make history as the first romantic comedy from a major studio about two gay men, and the first studio film featuring an entirely LGBTQ+ principal cast.

Eichner and Macfarlane will star, with plot details only revealing that they will be two men stumbling towards love, but with their busy lives consistently getting in the way. 

 

I Want You Back

Starring: Jason Orley

Director: Charlie Day, Jenny Slate, Gina Rodriguez, Scott Eastwood, Manny Jacinto, Mason Gooding

Release Date: February 11th

 

Charlie Day and Jenny Slate lead this new comedy and find themselves on a revenge mission. 

The pair play Peter and Emma, two thirty-somethings who have each been left by their respective partners.

Unwilling to admit that their relationships are over and fearing that they will be forever alone, the two decide to team up to win their exes back by destroying their new relationships...

 

Dog

Starring: Channing Tatum, Jane Adams, Kevin Nash, Q'orianka Kilcher, Ethan Suplee, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Bill Burr

Director: Channing Tatum, Reid Carolin

Release Date: February 18th

 

Tatum and his writing partner on Magic Mike Reid Carolin come together for this canine caper. 

Tatum plays Briggs, a U.S. Army Ranger who is tasked with bringing Lulu, a Belgian Malinois military working dog, down the Pacific Coast in time to attend her handler's funeral.

 

Easter Sunday

Starring: Jo Koy, Jimmy O. Yang, Tia Carrere, Brandon Wardell, Eva Noblezada
