After the explosive climax of their fourth run, AC-12 return for another high-octane season in 2019.
Martin Compston, Vicky McClure and Adrian Dunbar are all back to star, with Stephen Graham taking a key role in this new series.

True Detective
Broadcaster: Sky Atlantic
After rumours that it would be two seasons and out for the brooding detective series, the show will live again in 2019.
The show's new run is led by Mahershala Ali, best known for his Oscar-winning role in Moonlight, with Stephen Dorff, Ray Fisher, Mamie Gummer, Carmen Ejogo and Jodi Balfour in supporting roles.
The series is set in Ozarks over three separate time periods. We will watch on as partner detectives investigate a macabre crime involving two missing children.
Green Room's Jeremy Saulnier and Game Of Thrones/The First director Daniel Sackheim have directed the series, which sees writer and creator Nic Pizzolatto joined by Deadwood scribe David Milch.

Poldark
Broadcaster: BBC One
The romping drama comes to a climax in 2019 with the show's fifth and final run.
Now back in his native Cornwall, the final season will see Aidan Turner's Ross Poldark trying to reconnect with his roots and enjoy the quiet life.
Sadly though, that dream doesn't last for long...
300's Vincent Regan and Grantchester's Sofia Oxenham are among the new additions for the new season.

Peaky Blinders
Broadcaster: BBC One
The hit gangster drama moves to BBC One for its fifth series, which arrives in 2019.
The new run will be set in 1929 with a story revolving around the turmoil caused by that year's financial meltdown, leading to The Great Depression.
Sam Claflin, Anya Taylor-Joy and Brian Gleeson head up a roll call of exciting new additions to the cast for Season five, which is set to add a dozen new stars to its roster.
Other names revealed to be joining the show's fifth season include Kill List and Utopia star Neil Maskell, Lady Macbeth's Cosmo Jarvis, Hollyoaks actor Emmett J Scanlan, Krypton's Elliot Cowan and Game of Thrones star Kate Dickie.

Big Little Lies
Broadcaster: Sky Atlantic
It was always presumed that the dark drama would only be a one-off, but after some creative script work, we get a second season of Big Little Lies in 2019.
Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Shailene Woodley, Laura Dern, Adam Scott and Zoë Kravitz all return to star.
For the second run, Meryl Streep will play Mary Louise Wright, the mother to the abusive Perry Wright, played in the first season by Alexander Skarsgard.
The show's second season will be directed by American Honey's Andrea Arnold, who replaces Dallas Buyers' Club director Jean-Marc Vallée behind the camera.

Catastrophe
Broadcaster: Channel 4
Sharon Horgan and Rob Delaney's comedy-drama returns on January 8th for a fourth series, following the couple who make a go of things after falling pregnant within a few days of meeting.
Broadchurch star Julie Hesmondhalgh and Sex and the City’s Chris Noth join the cast for the new run, which picks up after the devastating end of the third run.

Tin Star
Broadcaster: Sky Atlantic
Tim Roth returns to for another run as Jim Worth, the ex-Met police detective who finds himself as new police chief of Little Big Bear, a small town at the edge of the Canadian Rockies.
Cast into the wilderness of the Rockies for the second season, Worth's life is about to get a lot more difficult.
The Fall's John Lynch and The Missing's Anamaria Marinca are among the new additions for this second run.

Britannia
Broadcaster: Sky Atlantic
Jez Butterworth's psychedelic take on the bloody battles of the first days of Britain gets a second go in 2019.
Plot details are scant at this point, but you can expect more of the epic production values and flights of fancy that made season one.

Baptiste
Broadcaster: BBC One
Not quite a return, but a spin-off, following Julien Baptiste, the troubled detective who led The Missing.
Tchéky Karyo is back to play Baptiste, with Tom Hollander and Jessica Raine also in the cast.
This time, Baptiste and his wife are on a visit to Amsterdam when they run into the Chief of Police, who also happens to be an old girlfriend of Baptiste's.
She then seeks out his help to solve a case that takes him into the Dutch city's seedy underworld...
