The movie features an all-star cast with Meryl Streep, Saoirse Ronan, Timothée Chalamet, Emma Watson, Florence Pugh, Eliza Scanlen, James Norton, Laura Dern, Louis Garrel, Bob Odenkirk and Chris Cooper all in key roles.
Little Women follows the lives of the four March sisters, Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy, as they grow up in the wake of the American Civil War.
The film is the eighth feature film adaptation of the 1868 novel of the same name by Louisa May Alcott, with Gerwig both directing and adapting the novel.
