"It's fantastical, like taking a magic mushroom trip..." talks Thor: Ragnarok with Jeff Goldblum and Taika Waititi

As the latest adventures of Thor return to our screens we talk to Jeff Goldblum and Taika Waititi about what we can expect from Thor: Ragnarok...

The mighty Thor returns for his third solo outing this week as Marvel's new film Thor: Ragnarok arrives in UK cinemas today. Chris Hemsworth reprises his role as the Norse thunder god alongside a returning Tom Hiddleston, who appears once again as Thor's adopted brother Loki, but this time around it's not the Earth that's in peril; the brothers' home planet of Asgard has been invaded by Hela, the goddess of death, whose return to Asgard heralds the coming of Ragnarök ("Fate of the Gods") and the destruction of all life on Thor's home world.

Stranded at the wrong end of the universe with the fate of his planet at stake and facing his most formidable enemy yet, Thor will need to team up with a few friends to return to Asgard and defeat Hela before his world is lost forever. Alongside Hemsworth and Hiddleston is a stellar cast that includes Jeff Goldblum, Cate Blanchett, Idris Elba, Mark Ruffalo, Anthony Hopkins, Tessa Thompson and Benedict Cumberbatch, with Hunt for the Wilderpeople director Taika Waititi behind the lens for Thor's latest adventure.

With the film arriving on DVD shelves on Monday (February 26th, you can pre-order it now on the right-hand side of the page), we caught up Jeff Goldblum and director Taika Waititi to talk about their spectacular new film.
