CHVRCHES - Screen Violence

The Scottish electro-pop trio return with their fourth full-length effort, their first since 2018's Love Is Dead. 

Produced by the band and recorded between Glasgow and Los Angeles, the album features singles 'He Said She Said' and 'How Not To Drown', which includes The Cure frontman Robert Smith. 

The album's title was originally an idea for the name of the band, but the trio have adapted it for their new album, which was created largely over screens...

 

Jake Bugg - Saturday Night, Sunday Morning

The singer-songwriter returns with his fifth studio and his first since 2017's Hearts That Strain. 

Recorded with a series of different producers, including hitmaker Steve Mac, the album is Bugg's poppiest and most sonically diverse to date. 

The album is Bugg's first since his departure from Universal and signing to Sony RAC, but, as you can hear on lead-off single 'All I Need', he's not lost the taste of a big chorus...

Four years after her critically-acclaimed sophomore LP, Melodrama, the New Zealander returns with a third album. 

Produced with Taylor Swift/St. Vincent key man Jack Antonoff and in collaboration Frank Ocean knob-twiddler Malay, the album features 12 tracks. 

Powered by hit single 'Solar Power', the album finds the singer still in an experimental mood, but with her pop sensibilities still firmly intact. 

 

Jungle - Loving In Stereo

The reclusive duo return with an upbeat disco-influenced, funk-infused collection. 

Their pair's first LP since their departure from XL Records, Swiss-Tamil artist Priya Ragu and US rapper Bas guest on the album, which is power by hit single 'Keep Moving'.

 

Maisie Peters - You Signed Up For This

The hotly-tipped singer finally unveils her debut LP at the end of August. 

Co-writes on the album come from star-studded company, with Ed Sheeran, Steve Mac, Fred again.. and Johnny McDaid among them, while producers Tom Grennan producer Joe Rubel and Niall Horan collaborators Afterhrs are among the talent behind the boards.

As well as his busy production schedule, Jack Antonoff has also found time to record his third album under his Bleachers moniker. 

Featuring guest appearances from Bruce Springsteen and author Zadie Smith, as well as writing from St Vincent and Lana Del Rey, the LP is Antonoff's most introspective to date and moves away from the bombastic pop of his earlier Bleachers records.

Produced by M83/Wolf Alice man Justin Meldal-Johnsen, the album sees the band expanding their sonic world and going full supernova on this nine-track collection.

 

Martha Wainwright - Love Will Be Reborn

The singer unveils her first album in five years and her first in nine years to be based around original material. 

Pierre Marchand, best known for his work with Wainwright's brother Rufus on Poses and much of Sarah McLaughlin’s work in the 1990s, has produced the LP. 

Recorded in Wainwright's hometown of Montreal, the new album was made in the basement of café Ursa with Toronto musicians Thom Gill, Phil Melanson and Josh Cole.

 

Jade Bird - Different Kinds Of Light

Produced by country maestro Dave Cobb, the album was written in different locations across the world, and finds the singer at her most soulful. 

 

Mr Jukes & Barney Artist - The Locket

Jack Steadman of Bombay Bicycle Club brings his solo Mr Jukes project into a new realm working with south London rapper Barney Artist.

Inspired by the cerebral hip-hop of A Tribe Called Quest and J Dilla, the album is a breezy, summery collection, perfect for sunny days.

Both Lex Amor and Kofi Stone guest on the album.
