Every Wednesday we recommend a brand new artist who we think you're going to love. This week we bring you Brisbane pop-punks Waxflower...

Who Are They?

Waxflower are a foursome from Brisbane, Australia, consisting of singer/bassist Tristan Higginson, guitarists Jordan Beard and Nick Hargans as well as drummer Daniel Seymour.

A going concern since early 2019, the band are now signed up with Rude Records, home of Less Than Jake, Set If Off and more.

What Do They Sound Like?

What Waxflower do is undoubtedly pop-punk, but it is on the more cerebral end of a genre. Think Taking Back Sunday, Saves The Day and the serious moments in an A Day To Remember set.

Why Should I Be Excited?

Big riffs, sunny melodies and whopping great choruses.

Can I Hear Something?

Indeed you can, 'Sixteen Floors' is below for your consideration...
