"It was We Started Nothing by The Ting Tings. When I was 10, I used to go to my best friend's house every Monday after school and we would listen to it in my her kitchen and act out all the different people in 'That's Not My Name', so I remember going to hmv and getting my own copy with my dad."
The record that made me want to be in a band was...
"Welcome To The Black Parade by My Chemical Romance. I still think the orchestration and writing of those songs are insane and world class, and I used to just watch the YouTube lyric video of 'Famous Last Words' and try desperately to remember them for hours."
The record I've played more than any other is...
"1989 by Taylor Swift. Taylor is my biggest inspiration and this album has been a constant in my life since the day it came out. I probably have never gone longer than a week without listening to at least one song from it. 'Clean' is one of my favourite songs ever and the deluxe version is also severely underrated."
The record that always makes me feel good is...
"Alright, Still by Lily Allen. It reminds me of childhood and car trips with my family when me and my sister would belt 'Knock Em Out' not knowing how comically inappropriate it was for kids. I feel like I've grown up with it as my older wise badly behaved sister and I love it for that."

"Kindly Now by Keaton Henson. Impossibly sad and always my first recommendation if anyone asks for something they might not know, 'Old Lovers in Dressing Rooms' is simultaneously the band aid and the salt in the wound when you're feeling things. If you don't like this record I probably won't like you..."
The record I think is the most underrated of all time is...
"The Blessed Unrest by Sara Bareilles. Another super formative record for me, I think the lyrics and arrangement of it is so intricate and out of the box of all other music that was coming out at that time, and songs like 'Manhattan' and 'Hercules' are so timeless and beautiful."
The record with my favourite cover art is...
"Beginners by Christian Lee Hutson. This album truly soundtracked most of my lockdown in 2020 and something about the artwork feels so peaceful and sad and nostalgic and surreal. 'Northsiders' and 'Lose This Number' from this album are perfect songs to me."
The record with my favourite title is...
"ABBA's The Visitors. This took me so long to decide and I still keep changing my mind, but, in the end, I went for the classic. The Visitors is so enticing and yet so simple, and I think it says so much whilst saying so little which I think is the ultimate goal for an album title."

"Tapestry by Carol King. I understand why it’s acclaimed and renowned but I personally have never felt attached to it. To me, it feels like music theatre. I’m sorry, I know this is blasphemy!"

"Pageant Material by Kacey Musgraves. I bought it in hmv for my sisters Christmas present, because we used to listen to that album all the time when we were on holiday, and I wanted to be able to play it in her terrible old broken car which she has since sold."

"Solar Power by Lorde. The first single is so exactly what the world needed and I'm obsessed with this carefree summer witchcraft energy she's exuding, it's gonna be a sad girl's version of hot girl summer music."

"You Signed Up For This by Maisie Peters. Yes, I might be biased but also I truly think it is such a good album that I am prepared to throw my weight behind this answer. It is in fact the greatest record of all time, and if you disagree you hate great records and girls who are 5'1..."
