Pink Floyd have said that they have no plans to tour in support of their new album The Endless River.

Asked by Rolling Stone about the possibility of a tour in support of the album, guitarist Dave Gilmour said that without keyboardist Richard Wright, who passed away in 2008, a tour was "impossible".
He said: "Without [Rick], that’s kind of impossible. I’m really enjoying my life and my music. There’s no room for Pink Floyd. The thought of doing any more causes me to break out in a cold sweat."
Gilmour added that this would be the band's last album, saying: "Anything we had of value is on this album. Trying to do it again would mean using second-best material, and that’s not good enough for me."
Earlier this month it was revealed that scientist Stephen Hawking will appear on a track on The Endless River.
This would mark the second time Hawking has appeared on a Pink Floyd album after he appeared on their 1994 album The Division Bell. On that occasion he appeared on a track called 'Keep Talking', given this is a similar title to 'Talkin' Hawkin'' it seems likely that this new track will be a sequel of sorts to that song.
