My Inspiration is a new series from hmv in which we give musicians, actors, filmmakers and producers the chance to take a welcome break from talking about themselves and instead talk about their greatest inspiration.

We spoke to her about her inspiration, British actor Tim Curry, and why 1985 comedy-caper Clue was the crucial moment in her cinematic education...
