Fresh off stage after an electrifying UK festival set, the rising pop star sits down with us for a lively chat about pre show rituals, nostalgic Britpop anthems, and what lies ahead for her biggest tour yet.
Us: Fresh off an absolute stormer of a set at Reading Festival, how are you feeling after making your big UK festival debut? Did the crowd bring that legendary British energy?
Us: We love to hear it! Which tunes felt extra magical to unleash live on the crowd today?
Julia Wolf: "Burning House, which is pretty much my only love song, felt amazing to share with everyone, alongside In My Room which was an absolute blast!"

Julia Wolf: Okay, let us do this! For the three records, I am choosing Punisher by Phoebe Bridgers, the iconic self titled album by Third Eye Blind, and Take This to Your Grave by Fall Out Boy. For the two films, definitely Twilight and Call Me By Your Name. And for my one book pick, I am going with The Idiot!
Us: That is an elite selection! Speaking of touring life, every star needs proper backstage treats. Have you made any wild updates to your rider requests lately?
Julia Wolf: "Haha, I actually did just update it to include one essential new thing, an Aperol Spritz! I am completely obsessed with having one ready."
Us: Now that is proper rockstar living! What is one of the wildest or most emotional live performance memories you have logged on the road so far?
Julia Wolf: "Oh, performing at Warped Tour in the US was huge! It was the very first show of mine where people were crowd surfing and literally jumping on top of each other. It was actually the first time I ever cried after a set. It just felt like such a massive moment!"
Us: What a moment! Before hitting the stage to unleash all that energy, do you have any unique pre show rituals to get yourself grounded?
Julia Wolf: "I actually love to stir my good intentions directly into my tea! It is a bit of a fun witchy thing. And taking a quick pre show shot, of course, you know how it goes!"
Us: Stirring good intentions into tea is brilliant! While we are at the festival, which fellow acts on the lineup should music fans be rushing to check out?
Julia Wolf: "Please go check out After! They are so unbelievably cool. It is super nostalgic, kind of trip hop vibe as they label it, but definitely give them a listen!"
Us: We are on it! If you were to surprise everyone and drop a UK exclusive cover for Reading Festival into your set, which absolute classic would you pick?
Julia Wolf: "Don't Look Back in Anger by Oasis, hands down! That used to be my go to karaoke song all the time. Plus it was on that classic video game Rock Band, so I would always pick it!"
Us: An absolute legend of a choice! Once the festival madness wraps up, what exciting plans lie on the horizon for you?
Julia Wolf: "I am gearing up for my absolute largest tour yet featuring full custom production and epic stage lighting, before heading straight into the studio to craft my next full length album!"
