The history of BTS

BTS is a K-pop supergroup made up of seven members: J-Hope, Jimin, Jin, Jung Kook, RM, Suga and V. The group's name stands for Bangtan Sonyeondan, which loosely translates to Bulletproof Boys.

They debuted in 2013 and have been nominated at the GRAMMY Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, BRIT Awards and many more. The group has enjoyed worldwide success and has had four top 10 singles in the UK, including 'Dynamite', 'Butter' and 'My Universe' – the latter being a collaboration with Coldplay.

After going on hiatus in 2022, members of the group branched out into solo projects. Most have produced exciting hits while collaborating with other megastars like Nile Rodgers and Jack Harlow.

BTS new album: ARIRANG

BTS fans, rejoice – the wait is finally over. The hiatus has officially ended, and BTS are back with their fifth studio album, ARIRANG. Landing in stores and on streaming platforms on March 20, 2026. The release promises more of BTS’s signature, genre-blending magic – think soaring K-pop hooks, smooth R&B moments, and plenty of emotional punch.
