Sabrina Carpenter

Headlining the first night of Coachella is no small feat, and Sabrina Carpenter did not disappoint. She surprised audiences with appearances from Will Ferrell, Samuel L. Jackson, and more, taking the crowd by storm. The set even featured a nostalgic cameo from her Girl Meets World co-star Corey Fogelmanis, adding an extra layer of excitement for longtime fans. With polished vocals, playful choreography, and undeniable charisma, Carpenter proved she’s more than ready for a headline slot of this scale. We will certainly be 'trying this one' again on weekend 2.

KATSEYE

KATSEYE made history by drawing one of the largest crowds ever seen at the Sahara stage. Despite missing a member, they delivered a high-energy performance that proved exactly why they’re one of the most talked-about rising acts right now. Bringing out Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami for a live rendition of “Golden,” they turned the desert heat all the way up and left a lasting impression on a packed-out crowd.

Justin Bieber

The much-anticipated “Bieber-chella” moment finally arrived, and it didn’t disappoint. Stepping back onto the Coachella stage, Bieber delivered a confident, hit-filled set that had the entire crowd singing along. It felt like a full-circle moment, reminding everyone of his staying power and why he remains one of pop’s biggest global stars. An emotional moment for some fans as Bieber lined up the original music videos of some of his biggest hits and sang along with his younger self (as well as some meme sharing too). An intimate and personal set.

The Strokes

Effortlessly cool as ever, The Strokes brought their signature indie rock sound to the desert. Their set was packed with fan favourites, with Julian Casablancas leading the charge with his unmistakable vocals and laid-back presence. It was a reminder that their influence still runs deep across generations of festivalgoers. I mean, who doesn’t want to be one of the Strokes (us too, Alex Turner, us too).

Nine Inch Nails x Boys Noize

The collaborative “Nine Inch Noize” set was easily one of the most experimental moments of the weekend. Blending the industrial grit of Trent Reznor’s Nine Inch Nails with Boys Noize’s hard-hitting electronic production, the performance created a dark, immersive atmosphere that felt both chaotic and captivating. Who doesn’t want to see eerie-looking dancers and hear a remix of ‘Closer’? A legendary crossover.

The xx

The xx marked their comeback with a 15-track set, stripping things back. They delivered a beautifully atmospheric set that felt almost hypnotic. With delicate vocals and minimalist production, they offered a moment of calm amongst the chaos, proving that sometimes less really is more on a stage this big. The set featured classics like ‘Intro’ and ‘Crystalised’ and was definitely a weekend highlight for sure.

PinkPantheress

A long way from her hometown in Somerset, Pinkpantheress seemed completely at home on stage. Delivering her signature blend of UK garage, drum and bass, and pop, Pink kept the energy high from start to finish. Her set was short, sharp, and packed with hits leaving the crowd wanting more - not to mention a surprise appearance from actor Tyrique Withers, as well as the sunglass-wielding icon The Dare for a surprise dj moment. The stage displayed ‘PinkPantheress has arrived’ and don’t we agree.

David Byrne

A true icon, David Byrne brought artistry and innovation to the stage. The Talking Heads legend mixed in classics with tracks (such as Psycho Killer and This Must Be the Place)  from his new album ‘Who Is The Sky?’ Known for pushing creative boundaries, his performance felt both theatrical and deeply engaging, proving his influence continues to shape live music today.

The contagiously energetic hardcore band Turnstile wowed fans with a high-energy yet emotionally charged set. With pure intensity, Turnstile delivered one of the most high-octane sets of the weekend.
