It has been hugely successful amongst the target audience who were teenagers and young marrieds at the time. The book is the story of rock 'n' roll in the UK with interviews with leading artists and covers bands like Cliff and The Shadows, The Everley Bothers and singers like Tommy Steele, Marty Wilde, Adam Faith and Billy Fury. The book is a nostalgic journey to an age of Expresso bars, skiffle and Mecca dance halls.
