All six James Bond adventures starring Sean Connery as the suave and sophisticated MI5 agent. In 'Dr No' (1962), Bond is sent to Jamaica to investigate the murder of one of his colleagues. It transpires that the island is being used as a base for the terrorist organisation SPECTRE who, under the guidance of the despotic Dr No (Joseph Wiseman), have developed technology to divert rockets launched from Cape Canaveral. In 'From Russia With Love' (1963), Bond is once again saving the world from the terrorist threats of SPECTRE. He is sent to Istanbul to steal a Russian coding machine, but comes up against two fearsome opponents also interested in the device: East German spy Rosa Klebb (Lotte Lenya) who hides a deadly switchblade in her shoe, and assassin Red Grant (Robert Shaw) posing as a fellow British agent. In 'Goldfinger' (1964), Bond pits his wits against the power-crazed criminal mastermind Goldfinger (Gert Frobe). Goldfinger has secured most of the gold in the world and now plans to render the rest useless. Henchman Oddjob (Harold Sakata) helps him realise his plans, thanks to his unusually lethal bowler hat, whilst Pussy Galore (Honor Blackman) is the glamorous pilot who Goldfinger hopes will execute the raid on Fort Knox that will make him the richest man in the world. In 'Thunderball' (1965), SPECTRE has stolen two nuclear bombs and is threatening to blow up the world. Bond infiltrates the terrorists' underwater base off the coast of the Bahamas in order to foil their plan. In 'You Only Live Twice' (1967), Bond is sent to Japan to keep the peace between the superpowers when a SPECTRE rocket intercepts an American space capsule carrying a nuclear warhead. Bond manages to track down SPECTRE's secret base and its evil mastermind Blofeld (Donald Pleasence). Will he be able to stop Blofeld's evil plans? Finally in 'Diamonds are Forever' (1971), Bond infiltrates a worldwide diamond smuggling operation. The action - which moves between Amsterdam, Los Angeles and Las Vegas - sees Bond encounter Plenty O'Toole (Lana Wood) and uncover a plot involving a business tycoon.
