Digimon Adventure Tri: The Complete Chapters 1-6

£39.99

Released: 3rd December 2018. Collection of six feature-length episodes that are a direct sequel to the 'Digimon Adventure' series. In 'Digimon Adventure Tri: The Movie - Reunion' (2015) the original group of DigiDestined children are reunited when electronic malfunctions in Odaiba cause Digimon to become hostile. After many years of inactivity are they ready for this new challenge? Following her revelation that she is one of the DigiDestined, in 'Digimon Adventure Tri: Chapter 2 - Determination' (2016) Meiko Mochizuki (voice of Miho Arakawa) attempts to show her support to the rest of the group. Some of the DigiDestined, Joe Kido (Junya Ikeda) in particular, are struggling to cope with their responsibilities as young adults. When another infected Digimon appears the group must show unity as the scale of the virus intensifies. In 'Digimon Adventure Tri: Chapter 3 - Confession' (2016) the DigiDestined worry about the safety of their partner Digimon as the virus escalates and it becomes apparent that Patamon (Miwa Matsumoto) is showing signs of infection. A cryptic warning alerts them that infected Digimon could potentially annihilate the real and digital worlds and that the only way to prevent this is to conduct a reboot, which could cause the Digimon to lose their memories. In 'Digimon Adventure Tri: Chapter 4 - Loss' (2017), following the reboot only Meicoomon (Yukiko Morishita) has retained her memories and Sora (Suzuko Mimori) struggles to reconnect with Biyomon (Atori Shigematsu) who refuses to accept her and denies ever knowing her. The return of Machinedramon, whose devastating attack scatters the DigiDestined and their Digimon all over the Digital World, causes chaos. In 'Digimon Adventure Tri: Chapter 5 - Coexistence' (2017) an angered Meicoomon digivolves to Meicrackmon and her new-found strength and power causes problems for the DigiDestined. Homeostasis (Mao Ichimichi) classifies Meicrackmon as a threat and tries to eliminate her. Meicrackmon's rampage has consequences for the DigiDestined in the Digital World as well as the Real World and they must show resolve in order to survive. Finally, in 'Digimon Adventure Tri: Chapter 6 - Our Future' (2018) both the real world and the digital world are threatened by the existence of Ordinemon (Morishita), whose scale of destruction endangers the entire human race. To combat this threat Homeostasis considers rebooting all digital technology but doing so could have fatal consequences. The DigiDestined have tough decisions to make to ensure the safety of the world.
