Angourie Rice and Renee Rapp star in this musical comedy based on the stage musical and 2004 film of the same name. After being home-schooled by her mother in Kenya for years, naive teenager Cady Heron (Rice) returns to America and must attempt to fit in at her new high school. As her friends Damian (Jacquel Spivey) and Janis (Auli'i Cravalho) show her around, they explain the social hierarchy to her and Cady soon crosses paths with the Plastics, the mean girls who run the school. When Regina George (Rapp), the leader of the Plastics, welcomes Cady into her group, Cady comes to enjoy being popular, but her crush on Aaron (Christopher Briney), Regina's ex-boyfriend, soon leads to conflict with the Plastics and Cady must decide what truly matters to her. The cast also includes Bebe Wood, Avantika, Tina Fey and Jon Hamm.
