In this new guise he befriends a dragon called Veldora (Tomoaki Maeno) who has been sealed away for three centuries after reducing a town to ashes. Freeing Veldora changes the course of his life and with his newfound powers, he begins establishing the nation of Tempest. In this season Rimuru evolves into a Demon Lord and plans to confront Clayman (Takehito Koyasu).
