The widowed physician flits from town to town, taking up temporary jobs as he seeks a cure for his condition as a result of being accidentally exposed to toxic radiation. When provoked, Banner morphs into a towering green alter-ego named 'The Hulk' (Lou Ferrigno), who is capable of extraordinary strength. Hot on his tail is the suspicious reporter Jack McGee (Jack Colvin) who is certain he can secure fame for himself by revealing the identity and nature of 'The Hulk'.
