When their owner Andy (voice of John Morris) clears out his bedroom in preparation for starting college, Woody (Hanks), Buzz (Allen) and their fellow toys find themselves at the mercy of a horde of toddlers at a nearby nursery. As they struggle to stay together, they meet a new group of toys led by pink teddy bear Lotso (Ned Beatty), while Barbie (Jodi Benson) is at last united with her male counterpart Ken (Michael Keaton). However, the toys soon discover that all is not well at the nursery and chaos ensues as they attempt to escape and find their way home.
