Nam-Yi (Hae-il Park) is extremely unhappy when his sister, Ja-in (Chae-won Moon), announces her intention to marry without obtaining his approval. His distress is compounded when he returns to the village to discover that Ja, his only living relative, has been taken prisoner by the invading Chinese forces.
