In this series, Margaret's eldest daughter Charlotte (Brown Findlay) feels threatened by the opening of a new tavern by the Pincher brothers, Isaac (Alfie Allen) and Hal (Ash Hunter), and she does all she can to ensure that the ongoing prosperity of her industry is not harmed, resulting in a feud with the new arrivals. Meanwhile, Margaret's youngest daughter Lucy (Eloise Smyth) comes across a business opportunity as she attempts to maintain her independence away from her family.
