Triple bill of action thrillers starring Jason Statham. 'The Expendables' (2010) directed by Sylvester Stallone, boasts an ensemble cast of action stalwarts including Stallone, Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Steve Austin, Terry Crews and Mickey Rourke. The film, which follows a group of professional killers as they join forces to bring down a South American dictator, also boasts cameo appearances from Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis, and sees Stallone and Schwarzenegger sharing a screen for the first time ever. 'Hummingbird' (2013) follows an ex-soldier who, forced to confront his past, embarks on a trail of revenge. Battle-scarred ex-special forces soldier Joey Jones (Statham), trying to avoid a court martial, finds himself homeless and eking out a living on the streets of London. After falling foul to an underworld gang, however, a desperate Joey seizes the chance to reinvent himself by assuming the identity of a wealthy Covent Garden businessman. When his pregnant girlfriend is later found murdered, Joey, armed with his new identity and his connections in the Chinese underworld, sets out to track down the man responsible. In 'Homefront' (2013), following the death of his wife, former drug enforcement officer Phil Broker (Statham) moves to a quiet town with his young daughter, hoping to give her a better life. However, their peaceful existence is short-lived when Broker learns of the violence and dodgy dealings corrupting the town at the hands of local drug boss Gator Bodine (James Franco). Broker soon finds himself fighting to protect both his daughter and the town.
