Released: 29th May 2017. Four-part ITV drama about the real-life murder of eleven-year-old Rhys Jones (Sonny Beyga) in the Croxteth area of Liverpool in 2007. After the youngster is shot dead on his way home from football practice, a massive police investigation to bring the perpetrator to justice begins. Led by Detective Superintendent Dave Kelly (Stephen Graham), the police initially believe the killer may have been a local, teenage gang member and an early tip-off from the public, naming Sean Mercer (Paddy Rowan) and two of his fellow gang members, confirms their suspicions but they are unable to charge him due to a lack of evidence. However, as Rhys's family prepare for his funeral, the police begin to close in on Mercer and his accomplices.
