First shown in 1991, the show featured an intriguing mix of surreal sketches and stand-up routines. Nearly 30 years on Paul Merton has re-edited the series. By removing material the comic was never happy with he hopes to give the viewer a more consistent program packed with laughs. From the six programs of Series One 16 minutes has been cut, from Series Two 3 minutes.br/br/In Series One, he poses such philosophical questions as: What do people get up to in a Turkish bath? How can a visit to the dentist become a hazard to aircraft? What do cats dream about?br/br/Series Two sees him go from 19th century Transylvania to 20th-century Stansted airport, taking in the golden years of Hollywood along the way.
