Unappreciated Joan (Kellie Bright) is forced to leave baby Rodney in the care of her mother-in-law in order to continue being the sole breadwinner of the family, and to make matters worse, Freddie (Nicholas Lyndhurst), the father of her recently born baby, has been locked up again.
