In the first season, DS Lisa Armstrong (Morven Christie) and her team begin an investigation into the disappearance of teenage twins. In the second season, Armstrong finds herself demoted to the role of Constable. However, the death of a distinguished lawyer gives her an opportunity to redeem herself as she sets about finding a motive behind the hired killing. In the third season, new arrival DS Jenn Townsend (Marsha Thomason) launches a murder investigation after a body is discovered in the bay. In the fourth season, a targeted arson attack shatters a family and Jenn and the team uncover a series of secrets and lies as they investigate. Meanwhile, while working to solve the case, DI Tony Manning (Daniel Ryan) considers his future and Jenn has to deal with trouble closer to home.
