Season two begins with Lisa at a low ebb, forced to do menial police work. However, when a new case involving a shocking murder within a loving family emerges, Lisa is called upon once again. Facing huge challenges at work and at home, Lisa must unravel the secrets of this new family and make amends for the past - to her colleagues, to her family and to herself. The third installment welcomes DS Jenn Townsend (Thomason), Morecambe's new Family Liaison Officer, as she is thrown in the deep end when a body is found in the bay on her first day in the job. She must get under the skin of a grieving and complicated family if she has any chance of solving the murder, whilst at the same time prove her worthbr/to her new colleagues in the Major Investigation Unit.
