In 'The Conjuring' (2013), when the Perron family begin experiencing strange phenomena at their farmhouse, they enlist the Warrens' help. As they investigate however, the pair begin to realise that despite their expertise, they may not be equipped to deal with such a violent and foreboding evil... In the sequel 'The Conjuring 2' (2016), following a series of unsettling events at a home in Enfield, London, Ed and Lorraine come to the aid of single mother Peggy Hodgson (Frances O'Connor) who claims her two daughters are being tormented by an evil spirit. Soon after their arrival the Warrens begin experiencing terrifying phenomena themselves, with the demonic entity seemingly intent on forcing them out. Plagued by hideous visions, physical attacks and even possession, the couple become embroiled in a deadly fight to survive as they attempt to conclude their investigation.
