Children's animation series following steam locomotive Thomas (voice of John Hasler) and his friends on Sodor Island in which they are introduced to Carly (Lucy Montgomery) the crane. Cranky (Matt Wilkinson) worries that he will be replaced by the shiny new crane and his feelings worsen when Carly is keen to muck in and get to work. The two cranes begin to try and outdo each other, resulting in them getting their hooks tangled together. Can they learn to work alongside each other and become friends? Also, Harvey (Keith Wickham) has crane problems of his own, Philip (Rasmus Hardiker) discovers the origins of his number 68 and Diesel (Kerry Shale) makes a new friend. The episodes are: 'Cranky at the End of the Line', 'New Crane on the Dock', 'Stuck in Gear', 'A Most Singular Engine', 'Springtime for Diesel', 'Den & Dart' and 'Philip's Number'.
