In June 2020, we lost one of our national treasures - Dame Vera Lynn. For more than half of a century, Lynn's iconic voice had raised the nation's spirits and has given us pride and strength, especially in difficult times of when it was needed the most. This album features brand-new, never heard before versions of re-orchestrated classic Vera Lynn songs with her beautiful, timeless and inspiring voice. Featuring one of the last known recordings on an album that Vera Lynn had made - 'High Flight', a moving poem, written by a WWII fighter pilot, read by Lynn and accompanied by music, plus a specially recorded medley and a special new version of 'White Christmas' as bonus tracks. 'Keep Smiling Through' is the perfect commemoration of Dame Vera Lynn's life through her songs and music.
