On the 11th of June 2005 The Shepherds Bush Empire found Tangerine Dream celebrating the 35th Anniversary of the recording of their landmark album 'Phaedra'. This legendary concert was both recorded and filmed and captured the band on top form as they performed in front of a sell-out audience. The band played music from their legendary albums 'Phaedra', 'Rubycon', 'Force Majeure', 'Logos', and 'Underwater Sunlight', alongside more recent material and an unexpected cover of the Jimi Hendrix classic, 'Purple Haze' featuring Edgar on lead guitar, which totally wowed the audience, which has to be seen to be believed.
