Víkingur Olafsson continues his acclaimed exploration of J.S. Bach with 'CONTINUUM II', the second instalment in his ongoing Bach project. Bringing together original keyboard works, transcriptions and Olafsson's own new arrangements, the album reveals an intimate and reflective side of Bach's music. 'CONTINUUM II' is also the first album to have been recorded entirely at Olafsson's new home studio in Iceland, The Nutshell. Following the success of his previous Bach recordings, the album deepens Víkingur Olafsson's lifelong musical conversation with the composer, combining familiar masterpieces with less widely known works and fresh interpretations.
