Star pianist Daniil Trifonov embarks on a very personal journey across America's continents. Entitled 'My American Story' this album 'North' takes in a wide range of repertoire from the US, the country where Trifonov has spent more than half of his life. The works, recorded with Yannick Nézet-Séguin and The Philadelphia Orchestra, range from jazz and swing to modernism, minimalism and popular soundtracks. It features a collection of pieces that reflect the eclectic variety of his experiences in his adopted home.
