There is a hush most of us only knew as children, the warm drift between familiar household sounds and being carried to bed, a place that belongs to you and to some self you have not met yet. June McDoom's debut full-length, 'Follow the Light', lives in that dream space and then keeps walking, slipping out of time and waking somewhere new, barely familiar enough to feel like home yet wholly your own. Made slowly and by hand with her longtime partner Evan Wright, 'Follow the Light' lays the harmony of folk over the rhythm of dub, with Dionne Warwick, Minnie Riperton, Pentangle and the washed guitars of Cocteau Twins haunting its outer edges. Voice and guitar seeking each other out first, then everything else stacked across long days in the studio they keep at home, restraint kept on purpose. The lead single 'Without You' is the whole method surfacing, split open and sparkling like a geode in a creek bed. Angelic heroics, and nothing less.

When will my order arrive?

• We aim to dispatch in-stock items within 24 hours* 
• Standard UK delivery: Royal Mail Tracked 48® service, usually within 2-5 working days (including Saturdays).
• Express UK delivery: Royal Mail Tracked 24® or DPD, usually within two working days (order by 2pm, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).
• International delivery: Tracked service, usually within 3-5 working days.
• Pre-orders: dispatched with the aim to deliver on the release date.

*Where an item is 'Back in stock soon', we usually expect stock within a week and will dispatch it once available.
