[Yankee Hotel Foxtrot] embedded Wilco’s great American songwriter status.’ – Mojo ‘It's as if the Flying Burrito Brothers suddenly decided to cover Pavement songs.  There is a gentle, rootsy beauty here that Wilco has buried in a box of vulnerability and covered with a handful of dirt.’ – New York Times ‘Born out of turmoil, Wilco’s fourth album was a stone-cold classic.’ – Uncut
